Oxygen, water and sunlight: Tips for De-Stressing
Oxygen, water and sunshine are the most basic life giving elements of earth. Without them we have no existence here, but our current lifestyle is very loaded, which seem to take for granted and not much thought goes into the fact that we need these everyday objects to survive properly.
Our bodies are 70% water and extract water from what we eat and drink. You've probably heard that you should drink eight glasses of water daily. This is true even While some people may need more than that. Water is hydrating. Beverages such as coffee, soft drinks and alcohol dehydrate you. It not mean that you should never drink, but if so, drink extra water to compensate.
How do I know if you are dehydrated? These following tips:
1) If you press your finger into the skin and does not see an immediate backup, but it feels a little soft and becomes slower when you are dehydrated.
2) If your urine is dark yellow and has an odor, then you are dehydrated. The urine should be very clear and odorless. Note: there are foods such as asparagus or vitamins B, which will give your urine a dark color, but what is natural and nothing to fear.
3) If you're tired, your skin is red or lips or mouth is dry, you may be dehydrated.
Sunlight is a Another element that we need to survive. Received many warnings that need protection from the sun and wear sunscreen and stay at home as possible. There is some merit to that, but you have vitamin D directly from the sun and requires only 15-20 minutes to get it. Also, if you are like me, a few days of rain can not stop very depressing. As soon as the sunrise, my spirit to rise dramatically. Enjoy the sun can stimulate, cheer and make you feel better. Pause in the sun, a great way-stress.
Oxygen! Enough is essential, but unfortunately we have become shallow breathers and many of us realize that you is not enough oxygen. What?
Well, just look at the couch potato watching TV all day, or people who have machines they do most of the work for us. How many times have you Having maintenance personnel sitting in a lawn mower mow the grass? We used to grow. It was breathless work, but it would certainly difficult to breathe afterwards.
The children used to walk to school, now take the bus or are brought to school. How many of us sitting in an office all day working on our computers. Then we sit down to lunch, work a little more and go home and relax watching TV for the rest of the night trying to ease the mental stress of the day. The dream the same routine next day and the next, and so on. When we move our body?
There is a certain percentage of people who go to the gym regularly or cardio exercises and then there are people dancing, etc. For those of you already, my hat to you.
We need oxygen for all cells in our body to be healthy. The best way is to travel around our body and breathe deeply. Most exercise classes will be there. No matter if you do weights, yoga, running or walking. Get the movement and breathing.
You can also do breathing exercises during you are sitting or lying position. Sit comfortably and breathe slowly through your nose, then release slowly from his mouth. Do this several times. Make a Pause for a few minutes and repeat several times. I did when I was on a plane and was surprised how I was feeling better. I done since. Works great!
In water short, drink, breathe deeply and sunbathing (in moderation)! You'll feel better!
If you can not motivate you to do this, try to put motivational posters for you to continue. Put them in places where it is often remember. Works for me!
