Why did not lose weight?
I am a little 20-year women. I'm like 4'11. In high school, was about 85, then increased to 95, and 106.5 haha. A month ago I moved to California with my family and eat really healthy. I went to eat at McDonalds, subs, snacks, soft drinks, coffee loaded with caramel sauce, etc., etc., to the "Zone Diet" whole wheat, vegetables, fruit, mineral water, almonds, etc., etc. …. Detoxification is total fat and field. Besides that I do yoga and workouts weekly ab. It's been a month of this lifestyle and I went from 106.5 to 102 to 104. My clothes still fit the same and I have to "belly pouchy" again. I thought the diet and exercise make you lose weight? Why just missed something? How long does it take? I know that is a definitive answer and there are many other factors .. I just want to give an idea of this and have no knowledge of this subject.
All the body stores fat from McDonalds, sodas, chips, etc., is replaced by muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. Do not measure your progress level. I guarantee if you keep it until your body will show the progress you want. Also, make sure you eat enough calories throughout the day (Yes, it's true could not eat enough!) If you do not eat enough, the body of panic and cling to all that is possible, and progress accomplished through yoga and ab work will be lost. You are at a healthy weight for your height, so I recommend not to lose much more. Just work on toning. One last thing! You need to add cardio if you really want to boost your fat burning. What we do today can muscle tone, but will not do much to raise the metabolism, which is where cardio comes in. Just do about 30 minutes 3-5 times a week. Good luck! And be care. Listen to your body and not in excess.
