Scientists confirm that the main concepts of yoga and its benefits
Yoga, practiced in India for thousands of years, became very popular in the world today. Numerous studies have confirmed the benefits of yoga. But surprisingly, many facts are discovered that by science can be found in the yoga scriptures dating back thousands of years.
Take, for example, the plan called the body subtle, which is the basis of the concept of yoga. According to yoga, there are three main energy channels: left, right and center, and seven energy centers, called chakras. The founder of Sahaja Yoga, a doctor of medicine and philosophy of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi says that this system corresponds to the energy CNS system in our body. Thus, the left and right channels are manifested physically as the left and right of the sympathetic nervous system, and appears as the central channel of the parasympathetic nervous system. The seven energy centers (chakras) are manifested in our body that the nerve plexus seven (plexus pelvis and ends at the limbic area in the crown of the head). In fact, it should not be a doctor to see the striking resemblance between this mechanism, India ancient knowledge and modern medical facilities. For example, now everyone knows that the left hemisphere of our brain controls the side right of the body, and vice versa. But that is exactly what the Yogis know the left and right channels of energy. They pass through a junction at the sixth Chakra (optic chiasm) and reach the opposite side of the brain. In addition, as we know from physiology, the right hemisphere of the brain is responsible emotions, while the left control of our mental activity and logic. Exactly the same knowledge can be found in Yoga: Energy left channel, which ends on the right side of the brain controls our emotional life and the right channel provides the energy of thought and activity physics. But the real surprise is that this subtle knowledge was known in India for thousands of years (there are archaeological discoveries show that, dated the year 3000 a. C. information, but is much older in the Vedas – basic philosophical writings of India – which originated to 10,000 BC or even earlier). Therefore, yogis have this knowledge thousands of years before being found in medicine. I was right in the state of meditation I could feel the energy flow in your body, you could feel the subtle work of these centers and channels.
In ancient times, this knowledge was kept secret and not revealed very little spiritual aspirants. In fact, some of them could the ultimate goal of yoga – to awaken the spiritual energy called Kundalini lying dormant in the sacrum at the base of the spine. Recently due to a new discovery of Shri Mataji (what she calls the Sahaja Yoga), to increase the Kundalini energy has become much more easy. The yogis of ancient times were primarily at the left and right channels. Thus, Hatha Yoga, for example, Yoga is the sun (Ha) and the moon (THA), which are symbols of the right heat and cold from the left. So, in modern terms, we can say traditional techniques of yoga uses the sympathetic nervous system, Sahaja Yoga active while the parasympathetic nervous system. One of the most important functions this system is to give us relax. Thus, the practice of Sahaja Yoga offers a very calm and relaxed state. But most importantly, a Kundalini is connected to the power pervades the universe (called by the youth of the collective unconscious). In other words, the inner energy of an individual is connected to the energy of the universe. In a state you feel part of the package, and you get all the knowledge of himself only attract the attention of an interior the state of meditation. Here's how how this ancient knowledge of our subtle energy system was discovered. However, in the old days very few spiritual masters could Awakening of Kundalini. But today, due to the discovery of Shri Mataji, the experience is available to millions.
So today, because of the discovery Shri Mataji, traditional Indian yoga (and not just some gym westernized than many people identify with Yoga) has become widespread and accessible virtually everyone. Many researchers scientifically studied the effects and benefits of Sahaja Yoga. Sahaja Yoga centers and health research based in India, England, Australia, Russia. In several countries, Sahaja Yoga hospitals where people are treated without medication. And the results are often remarkable, including success full treatment of cancer, diabetes, asthma, etc. The work of India on several MD is on the use of Sahaja Yoga for the treatment of several deaths. For example, in a study of the role of Sahaja Yoga in the prevention of stress that characterize the constraints on various parameters, such as resistance galvanic skin, heart rate, blood pressure, lactic acid concentration of blood was measured before and after the meditation for both groups People: practicing Sahaja Yoga for 12 weeks and an experienced group of Sahaja Yogis (2-6 years of practice). Both groups showed a significant improvement All parameters after the meditation. The improvement shown by the second group was stronger and more stable. In another study, conducted in Russia, the effect of Sahaja Yoga meditation in the resilience of the human brain was studied. EEG mapping showed that different parts of the brain operates in a much more Sahaja yogis when they were correlated to solve a problem compared to the control group people who practice Sahaja Yoga meditation. An example In addition, a study conducted in Ukraine, shows the effect of Sahaja Yoga meditation and vibration (energy you get when you meditate) on immunological blood parameters. The activity of the thymus gland (TSA parameter), which is the central immune system, was compared in three groups: (1) group of healthy control individuals (2) patients with ischemic heart disease, (3) children who came from the region of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. It was found that while the level of those in good health did not change after the meditation ASD, the ASD group level (2) and (3) has significantly increased and are approaching the normal value.
Let's now something completely different – quantum chemistry. Each energy center (chakra) has a corresponding element. Element primary chakra – Mooladhara – is carbon. Consider the electronic structure of the carbon atom. When you look in different directions in the configuration of the wave function of valence electrons (more precisely, the lines of the maximum amplitude of this function), very surprising that we can see various symbols associated with Indian philosophy Mooladhara chakra. On one side you can see the swastika, symbol of chakra Mooladhara four qualities: purity, innocence, wisdom and joy. In another sense the electron clouds seem Omkara – the symbol of creation, this part of the chakra Mooladhara. This similarity is remarkable! One may think (or thinking) how could the ancient sages go so deep that directly could feel that all meditation subtle knowledge.
At the end we will give another example, demonstrating that even the composition of the water can be changed when it is vibration. In the experiment conducted at the Russian Academy of Science tap water is a few hours in front of the photograph of Shri Mataji for collective reflection. The concentration of various impurities, and some physico-chemical parameters of water were measured before and after meditation. The results show that the effect of vibration has changed all the features. Under the measures, the effect of purification was between 10% and 70%. It should be noted that the strongest effect occurred for the parameters exceeds the originally authorized, the iron content and ammonia turbidity. Because of the vibration of all parameters of wine within safe limits.
In this brief review can give us some examples of scientific research on Sahaja Yoga and the link between yoga and science. In fact, yoga and science are two different ways of learning. Scienece and uses the logical approach and follow a yogi learns through its individual inner experience. Probably the time has come for us to understand that these two forms do not conflict. On the contrary, they complement each other. Thus, both parties have to be used together to understand our world and see beauty.
